A neat tu quoque there. In this case, not fallacious. We can only see our
own level of awareness (that is, what we see is a reflection of ourselves).
So far as 'looking through the smoke into the mirror'... this is called
insight, self awareness (as opposed to neurotic self-consciousness... a
distinction with a difference in practical psychology.
Often, the mirror we see is Black. That's why the series 'Black Mirror' is
so interesting... it penetrates the fog, smoke, defense mechanisms commonly
found in the Human Process.
Especially in the electronic age, the mirror has become blacker and blacker
(or is it more and more black?).
McLuhan was correct in his warnings about rushing into the Global Village.
We've been fascinated by the media maelstrom, feeling the powerful
sensation of being drawn into it. Some have realized the danger and
emulated Poe's character who survives by grabbing hold of something small
and abandons the sinking ship. McluhansWakeIntroduction
Most haven't abandoned the ship, and are finding that the maelstrom isn't
just dragging them to the depths, but transporting them smack into the
middle of a savage cannibal society.
The Global Village is a Socialist Utopian Panopticon, with pulsating
tom-toms are beating a steady rhythm, and screaming crowds alternating
between 'Workers of the world, unite!' and 'Allah hu akbhar'. A tiny,
insignificant number are saying 'seig heil', and the soon-to-be-eaten
majority focus their fear-hate on them, hoping to feed them to the
cannibals and save themselves...
The rhymes of history are most interesting.

And that is what you call a political analysis and a standard by which you
answer not only my questions, but your own? I don't know why I bother.
There is nuffink worse than taking bad advice!
The trouble when one tries to label people, put them into categories,
stereotype or classify them is that one finishes up with a lot of labels,
classes, categories and stereotypes, none of which are true, logical, fit
the person, or are even helpful. People are individuals after all, and
they may have patterns of behaviour and thinking no doubt, but they all
have minds and they can change them at any time, and over time. Even a
change of job can produce a change of mind, or a revelation during
sleep...we are all 'transhuman'...after all:-)
Conservation is about protecting and maintaining what one already has, no
doubt. I have no problem with that, it is a very good idea in my opinion,
and something which I practise myself...as best as I can.
Conservatives as a group or a party though...that is a different kettle of
fish, very mixed fish. I haven't yet met a Conservative who doesn't
believe that they know best what is for me, particularly when it is a
Conservative state run by them...on my behalf.
A liberal person can be a very kind person, just like Conservatives, I
have found, giving away ideas, giving away money even, and they believe in
choices...they are also Conservatives, and as long as I choose the choices
that they are offering, and I choose them, than that is just fine for
them...but for me?
Marxists believe in Karl Marx or some offset of Karl Marx. Most of them
have never read his works, studied his life or looked at originals. There
are a few honourable exceptions, but most of them aren't in the mainstream
of politics. I am a communist, Marxist, Leninist, Stalinist, Trotskyist,
maoist Conservative, with liberal, socialist and Kropotkin Anarchist
tendencies and a tactical strategist. I also believe in some of the stuff
said by Freud, Jung, Luria, Pavlov, Ericsson, Vygotski, Montessori and
Uncle Tom Cobbley, Bishop Berkeley and all, what does that make me.
Why do the letters tarian, make a difference to the definition of a

And now I see that I am branded as a Socratic...wow. That is a new one.
Is this because of the hemp?:-)
My heart bleeds from angina. My heart is in San Francisco, along with all
the other hippies. Scotland is a place of midges...which they never tell
you about, I'll let you into a secret, never go up into the Highlands
during the summer months, it is like living in hell...There is no mercy,
even to a covered bum.
Scots wa hae wi Wallace Bled...and To a Mouse, by Rabbie Burns...and "My
Love is Like a Red, Red Rose" and last of all, "Auld Lang Syne"
I love "Ode To Joy" I love the music of Beethoven, not bad for a guy who
was deaf. I loved his music long before the UK was forced to join the
Common Market in 1972.
I have some excellent ideas on how Trump can improve his business, some of
which I have put to this world forum already, but I don't think he is
listening, and if he is, he can't be bothered...
here is another one.
Why do Mr. Trump and Mr. Kim Jong-un, get together at a summit ASAP and
Mr. Trump, as his main negotiating tactic, suggest to Mr Un that he get a
Trump Tower built next to his official residence in Pyongyang and a new
Mara a lago golf complex with suitable entertainment facilities on that big
square piece of tarmac where he has all those marches going on, showing
off his goose steppers and his big phallic symbols with nuclear seeds on
top. And why doesn't he ask Mr. Un to pay for it through a long term,
interest free loan?
If this idea were adopted, then Mr. Un would become so involved in the
project and spend so much money on it, especially if there was a big sign
on it saying Trump-Un Motel,
that Mr. Un would forget all about trying to hit a big US military base
and turn to playing golf and also be unable to pay for his continuing
nuclear war plans...
And Mr. Trump would get another link in the chain towards his aim of
having a Trump Tower in every Capital of the world, and the whole project
would be risk free...
Now, there can't be anything more Far Right, Neo Con, Conservative and
Republican and anti-hard left and anti-Marxist than that...can there....
With kind regards,
P.S. Have you looked through the smoke into the mirror recently...it takes
one to know one...:-)

What is the difference between a Conservative and Liberal?
Liberals want the State to own everything and pay for everything.
A better explanation:
Q: What's the difference between a Liberal and a Conservative?
A: Thirty years. (i.e. maturity and experience, for when we''re young all
things seem reasonable and possible)
A Liberal is a Conservative who has just been arrested.
A Conservative is a Liberal who has just been mugged.
And what is the difference between a Conservative, a Liberal andLiberals and Marxists are indistinguishable.
Conservatives, historically, want to preserve something (frankly, not
always the right thing). In modern times, Conservatives are usually (but
notalways) better described as Libertarians.
And, this series of questions are not rhetorical by the way, they are aReading the things you post here over a number of years, I can't accept

One of the reasons I don't like the attitude of Mr. Trump and the
organisations which he represents very much, is because of what he did to
the ecological environment of a part of Scotland, near Aberdeen. He made a
lot of promises to the Scottish government about bringing economic
prosperity, huge amounts of investment and they, like the gullible
politicians they are, believed him, and in the teeth of local opposition
gave him planning permission. A lot of damage was done, a whole load of
sand dunes which had been there on the coast near Aberdeen, for thousands
of years were destroyed. Steps were taken to try and force some of the
more recalcitrant Scots to give up their land for a pittance, because "The
Donald" thought it might spoil the view, for those whom he wished to
attract to the golf complex, and then when a woman protested, he sent his
surveillance team of security guards to take photos of the woman going for
a piss, which was on land on which she was entitled to roam, and then had
the photos sent to the police, in an attempt to have the woman prosecuted
under some act or another. The film was published on the web and, criminal
court proceedings were started and then withdrawn, because Mr. Trumps
organisation was found not to have a licence to carry out such
surveillance, and was doing it off the land that they were supposed to, so
invading the privacy of the woman concerned. And, she, like any other
Scots person, has the right to roam the land in Scotland, and the right to
go for a piss on said land when they need to. There are a number of other
instances where his staff, in his name, bullied people, particularly
because they refused to sell off their property to him, even though he
offered them, what he thought was money way over the price they were
worth. He really did not understand the Scottish psyche, and yet that is
the man who wants to tell the rest of the world what he wants them to do.

the 'Big Rock Candy Mountain' of the Socialist State that every Communist

(AMWEB = *Alle Menschen* werden *Brüder* -- taken from Schiller's 'Ode to
Joy', set to music by Beethoven, and now the Anthem of the Socialist
Paradise of the European Union. However, Schiller and Beethoven had a very
different understanding of what 'Brotherhood' meant. They were hoping for a
system of government like that the Americans crafted and implemented).
Too bad Trump's activity didn't work out. Not everything he tries to do
works out. He lost a fortune to a Japanese Yakuza gambler. Several of his
businesses went bankrupt. Like hundreds of Democrats, Trump used the
bankruptcy laws to deal with the failures. But in the 'Animal Farm' world
of Liberals, 'some animals are more equal than others'... thus, it's ok for
Democrats to use the bankruptcy laws, but when Conservatives use those laws
they're demonic 'Capitalists' (a word they use in the same way many racists
use the word 'nigger').
