Jeremy Hunt is the new Foreign Secretary. Having done his best to
privatise the National Health Service and cut back on his funding at the
expense of the users and taxpayers, in the name of austerity, and being
known for many other incompetencies in his various roles in government,
and for his huge bank roll; he is at least a little bit better than
Boris Johnson, who, like President Trump is a bully boy and Hooray
Henry. Another smooth talker, who carefully avoids the traps of
leadership and doesn't know nuffink about nuffink when sumfink goes
wrong. One of the over educated English elite with all the usual
credentials, he is guaranteed to continue with the mess of potage which
Johnson left behind. Like so many in the UK government, he is a
Remainder who turned Brexiteer as a result of the referendum. It
reminds me of an old saying by Gus Hall, secretary of the American
Communist Party. He said, " A position of opportunism is a position
built on sand" Mind you with this nice weather, there are a lot of
people throwing sand about, particularly in the citizens eyes...:-)
