The Classic Propaganda film on the German Nazi Party Congress and the
Nuremberg Rallies by Leni Riefenstahl... When one looks at it now, one
is left thinking, was that really what the greater glory of National
Socialism and the Aryan race was all about? Would it really have lasted
a thousand years? Imagine a thousand years of going "sieg Heil" and
goosestepping up and down the street all the time...Brilliant film,
nevertheless, and uses the latest equipment and the newest techniques,
in film, music and sound, which were eventually adopted by Hollywood,
though Leni Reifenstahl herself was condemned, banned and ignored, for
her alleged Nazi sympathies. She said she wasn't a Nazi, and was doing a
commission, be that as it may, it is nevertheless a brilliant
film...Looking up the nose of Hitler and all... almost 2 hours long..
