It would be great if the threat of military intervention led
to regime change without satisfying bloodlust of militarists
hiding their nations' predations.
The nuclear MAD seems to have worked. Now to use
that as a model for minimizing all the other terrifying
weaponry. Find more dignified employment for
servicemembers or bribe them handsomely as if
tyrants or commissioned officers.
No offense, BTDT, US Army grunt.
