Dear Colleagues,
I see that the Russian media organisation, RT, has been forced to
register itself as a foreign agent in the USA. This hasn't happened in
the UK. It is a media organisation, just like the BBC or Independent
television or radio, BBC World Service, Radio Moscow, Radio Sussex. Can
anyone explain to me what this means in actual fact, regarding its
relationship with the people of the USA or the government. Is it meant
to be that R.T. is putin the same footing as Voice of America or the
Council on Foreign Relations, or the Heritage Foundation in other parts
of the world.

Does it mean that RT will be prohibited from telling the truth about
what happens in other parts of the world, or in the USA, or that it will
be tainted with being a propaganda machine like Voice of America, or the
Peace Corps etc....
