Hi John,
Interesting...especially the reasons for witholding the DVDs...

"One can do anything one likes provided it isn't prohibited by law"....When this phrase is pumped into Google it comes up with the following url:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

I have to admit at this stage, that my legal knowledge does not stretch any further in the matter.

Typing the following key words into Google <Evidence in court in public domain> comes up with the following url:
http://www.rcfp.org/browse-media-law-resources/news-media-law/news-media-and-law-spring-2010/now-you-see-it-now-you-dont

You might find this case interesting, as it does have some bearing on the question... I will keep looking but we might do better with a team effort...:-) . Anyone with some spare time...

Some of our colleagues on here might have better knowledge of US Law or know someone who does, or might be able to point our noses in the right direction. Having a friend who is a Supreme Court judge who specialises in the area might help...:-) .
