An interesting piece of historical, or is it hysterical propaganda.  It
wasn't really Britain, more sort of the South of England really, tending
towards a more middle class bias, but nevertheless interesting,
entertaining and quite quaint and funny.  I do remember coming off the
ration, the caravans and camping, the Suez Crisis, the Coronation, the
fashion, the automation of industry, the new technology, the spectre of
Communism, the clipped accent of the Queen and the broadcasters. The
motorbike and sidecar, the scooter, the motor car.  The Englishness of
the Scottish Mayor...the music and the teenager. Well worth a watch if
you have the time, and compare the outlook and cultural mores of today...

Lasts about an hour.  The wonders of You tube...:-)
