If Northern Ireland gets special treatment regarding the border, custom
and trading union...then so can Scotland...and Wales...and
Gibraltar...and Anguilla...Wot!  Where's Anguilla?

A tiny minority of a political party brings the UK government down to
size once again, as it has done so many times in the past.  This time it
has to do with having a "regulated" soft border, which would break the
Good Friday agreement which brought peace to Northern Ireland.

What is the solution to the Brexit  Irish, UK Northern Ireland border?

Well...I hesitate to say this...but we could always give Northern
Ireland back to the Irish, like wot should have happened way back in
1921...Then there would be no more DUP sticking its claws into the UK
state, bringing down governments of both ilks, holding the UK to ransom,
and getting more money compared with other regions of the UK...Mind you,
I don't know if Eire really wants it these days...

Perish the thought...:-)

Dougie.
