I have been waiting for the story that the NSA can turn on cell phone
microphones and listen to conversations. If the FBI has the ability to do it,
no doubt the NSA does also. This is like in the “old days” what was called an
Infinity Transmitter. The Soviet now the Russian Embassy was built on the
highest elevation in Washington, DC and still has a very impressive antenna
array on the roof. None of the Snowden revelations should really be a shock to
anyone, all this has been going on for decades. Echelon was the worst kept
secret in the world....

Yes, there is finally coverage of the physical architecture of
spying not just the "digital-architecture" of slides, texts
and hyperbole.
Duncan Campbell has reported on this physical architecture
of hardware and facilities for decades and has advised
several of the journalists covering the NSA releases who
lack his experience and technical knowledge. Jacob
Appelbaum confirms, others have not yet done so, and may
be incapable of admitting limited knowledge after building
careers of knowledgeability, yes, this is about cryptology
and anonymity.

Back to why Merkel, Obama and other leaders are dancing
in a global delusion of what they do not know, pretending
