BTW Kahn, I pulled hate off a tank against the Tonberry King with my smn.
It wasn't right at the start either. I get that I should've been watching the
enmity, but I really didn't think that it would happen - especially if he's got
enmity established at the beginning (and I'm using aoe against the adds). I
sometimes wonder in cases like this whether the tank fell asleep or stopped
doing his halone combo.

In Titan HM I can lose hate against DPS/Healers who have relic weapons. If I
get an okay headstart, then I'm fine and I won't lose hate, so I don't
understand how it can happen to other tanks.
