Yea, you need an external app.
Either something that maps the stick to keyboard buttons like Joy2key or
xpadder.
Or directinput emulator type stuff like x360ce

Playing a charge character is interesting. You got to remember to buffer charge
every now and then.

I’ve given up on Ken. I do understand that it’s not all the character and a lot
of my failing to play
him is just me not understanding the system properly. Maybe once I’ve learned
to play this game properly, I’ll go back to Ken. For now, I’m trading him out
for Ryu. I get to keep my hado and dp as well as getting a crap load better
normal. His MK makes me
stupidly happy.
Played some games against Paas. By Ken got his ass completely handed to him. My
Ryu got most of his ass handed to him. Seems like a definite improvement.

Similar to the genius of Capcom.
I realized that by decreasing the level of execution they have opened up the
game for more mind game possibilities.
im finding myself going more into defensive training mode, trying to devise a
plan around certain moves that give me problems instead of doing a combo over
and over.
It makes for a much better game experience, I like the direction they took. The
game is quite balanced
