(both options do same damage). I’ll try out your one tonight.
With meter to burn, I generally keep it simple and do:
C(2hit), df+C, BC, C(2hit), df+C, qcf+C, qcfx2 B+D

I started making a Terry primer video yesterday. It devolved into
such a mess, I just practiced with Paas online instead.
Punishment is weird in KOF.
I was testing punishment of Terry's burning knuckle and the results
were inconsistant based on positioning. I also don't think I can't test
things in practice mode using the record function, because I was having
odd
results.
Anyway, I did discover that pushback has an effect on combos.
Terry's EX Powercharge doesn't link after a standing C(2hit), df+C.
His f+A gives you days of time to cancel into Maxmode.
He can do d+B, d+B, d+A, f+A which is a nice way into Maxmode from a
hit-confirmable low. It takes practice though.
A nice Maxmode b&b is C, f+A, BC, C, hcf+BD, qcb+b, charge d u+AC
If you have more than 1 meter:
C, f+A, BC, hcf+BD, qcb+BD, qcb+A, qcfx2+B.
