yes
some are less obvious than others
eg: like Kyo
doing his dp into qcb hcf+p
now, a dp can be done by f d df+P, but it can also be done by inputting hcb f+P.
all dp's work this way. So you want to cancel dp into super now? much easier
hcb f+P, qcf+P gives you dp into super

so instead of doing qcf+P, qcf, hcb+P
you do qcf+P, hcb+P the fireball comes out and you super cancel into super.

Basically just loaded up character that I did not recognize to check out their

Also checked out some chick that had a divekick and shoulder/elbow charges...
she seemed "clumsy" as in if the moves wiffed she looked off balance or tripped.
Wasnt a fan
Tested some other chick as well with Johnny mist finer legs. Low mid high
attacks that can be held or cancelled etc.
Wasnt a fan either
My whole team could possibly change once I become more familiar with the rest

It's KOF, but not as we know it.
The jumps are floaty, but the hops seem ok. I think it has to do with running
at 60fps to be honest.
The combo learning curve is no longer steep. It falls in line with SF and GG
now, where you use the BC/maxmode to replace v-trigger/Roman Cancel.
Characters feel very different from one another, and different in general. I
like the change.
I can no longer play a carefree Billy, he now plays closer to his FF roots. At
least he has good recovery from what I can see. Nerfed.
Geese is a monster.
Hein is interesting, and possibly a killer too. I didn't think I'd like him,
but I changed my opinion.
One thing that I really enjoy is the "engrish" special moves. Terry and Geese
take the cake here..

The big changes in this game are:
1)Maxmode allows for enhanced special moves.
KOF13 allowed enhanced specials for use of 1 meter stock. It also allowed
cancelation of specials into other specials. KOF14 does not have this any
more. I think you can get to do 4 advanced specials per combo if you Maxmode
raw.
2)Maxmode cancel only leaves you 1/2 of the meter to do said cancels.
You can cancel any normal/command normal into this mode, I get to do 2 advanced
specials per combo this way.
3)Blow-off attack is a big deal now.
Pressing C+D (Fierce Punch+Fierce kick) while grounded does something similar
to a wallsplat.
The splatted opponent can be combo-ed as if he is standing if you get near him
early, and juggled if you get to him after the crumple animation.
4) Rush combo
This isn't just a mechanic for noobs.
There are attacks in the combo that have dufferent properties and animations to
other attacks.
