CE Claw has a lot going for him, in terms of good walkspeed, a fast jump that can be difficult to react to, and solid ranged normals. What he lacks is the ability to open people up. ST Claw has a far easier time of doing that than CE Claw. CE Claw's anti-airs also pale in comparison to ST Claw.
