nobody does balloon over and over in top level games, there must be a reason.

Dude, you saw what happens with Mizoguchi when I tried to beat balloon. I can
only use close st.hk, and most of the time it trades. If it trades twice, I
get dizzied. Elbow doesn't work. DP doesn't work. All you can do is block
and try st.hk.
I said it before already, anyone can win in this game because of the dizzy
system and random damage. Look at those matches I posted. Karnov rapes the
Jean player, then one round Jean gets a random combo and Karnov dies. That's
just the way the game works.

Next thing is main reason why Karnov is good is not just because of his
slide teleport glitch. For starters he does have an infinite and it's
possible to do in a match. Other thing also is balloon is probably one
of the best special moves in the game. It beats a lot of stuff and it
puts Karnov in a good position to either stop it to go into a block
string/mixup. That or he can just keep doing it over and over till it
will eventually hit. It can also be used to do some funky crossup stuff
on wake up after you knock someone down. His combos do pretty good
damage as well and can lead to easy dizzy. Yea some characters do have
answers for balloon but overall it's still a really good special. The
fact also that you can change the timing and control it's position makes
it even better.

Anyone can beat any character in the game once you hit their weak point. It's
such a stupid mechanic. Dizzy, 2-hit combo, 50% damage for no reason.
Karnov is stupid because air balloon is safe, can be comboed into and out of,
can be controlled, has a hitbox so big it hits BEHIND him and can be cancelled
into multiple times in one jump. Then you add his safe kick strings with
infinite combo potential. And only then do you count his side-switch glitch.

Everyone agrees that Karnov is retarded. Balloon mixups take no skill and it's
a legit tactic even at high level. His infinite is brainless and practical.
His only "bad" matchups are those vs characters that can beat balloon pressure.
He destroys anyone with a high weakpoint because eventually they get hit and
then get dizzied in two moves. I played vs LB last night using Mitsurugi and
had to block for about 20 seconds straight. Then I got hit once and I lost.
Then I picked Karnov and learned one move and got a perfect.
