Give Recuva a shot as a last resort.

Sadly system restore was not on. Oh well. Unless something else goes missing,

Confirm that System Restore is on. If it is, you'll be able to restore to a
point when you were able to access your folder. If not... well...

You could try using something like Recuva to see if it was deleted somehow.

Got KOF13, Gunhound EX (love these mecha games), Magicka (got the hack from GB

Anyone picked up any interesting games during the Steam Sale so far?

I got Monaco, which is pretty cool, but I think Multiplayer co-op is probably
where the game shines. Single Player is fun but it feels a bit slow. Maybe I
need to increase the difficulty a bit, or maybe I need to get further into the
game.

Picked up Crimzon Clover World Ignition, which is THE premier shmup for PC
gamers. I already had the original version, but this one is based on the
arcade Nesica release. If you're into shmups it's a must-buy.

LB assures me that Dust is really good, so maybe I'll get that. But I'm also
considering Startopia as I was a huge fan of Theme Hospital and Dungeon Keeper.
