Yup. Still need to copy the Samsho/Art of Fighting/Last Blade anthologies.
Pretty sure I copied Capcom Fighting Evolution already.

Btw Nic, I'd like to buy that PS2 stick of yours. Just let me know how much.
Forgot to ask about it on Sunday. Playing fighting games on pad after so long
feels weird *lol*

Thanks Nic. Changed the modes and everything worked like a charm :)
Seems the ethernet cable I was using was a bit iffy, so I just crimped a new
one at work and haven't had any transfer issues since.

@everyone else, this PS2 will be set up as a dedicated console at the sessions.
Are there any specific games that you would like to play? I've copied some
stuff over for testing purposes but I can always free up some additional space
if need be.

I hope you're not copying the files over just using some non-descript windows
app.

That would explain the failures.

the website for lots of PS2 goodies was www.sksapps.com

on there you'll find this guy HDL Dumb.zip

That will look similar to the stuff I was using.

The modes can also be changed using OPS2Loader on the PS2

Ahhh... so it's a mode thing. I wasn't aware. Figured you just copy shit over
and it works *lol*

Thanks bro :)

X-men needs something called Mode3 to work properly.

The other games you tried, with the exception of kof, have notorious
compatability on the loaders, but do work with some tweaking.
I'll check my modes.

*lol* Of course I dumped them on PC first :P
I haven't tested with every single game. The Xmen game we copied last night
refused to start when I first tried it, then it worked for about 10 mins on the
second attempt before hanging. I've tested with two of the games I copied over
(Kingdom Hearts and Super Dragonball Z). Kingdom Hearts gets to the intro
screen and freezes. Super Dragonball Z doesn't even make it to the menu.

Tested with KOF2k2UM and the same thing happens. Go into training mode for
about 10-15 mins, the background music stops playing and soon after that, it
hangs.

Don't copy gamed from USB through ethernet.
Dump them on the PC first, otherwise they fragment.

Which games in particular go wonky?

Yeah, the Japanese were unhappy about Godzilla's look. They reckon he's more

BTW, I’ve read some complaints that they Americanised Godzilla by making it

Ps2 is all good I hope?

Dude, those Jojo's matches were so hype.

Can't believe the game is as good as it is. That Jotaro pressure. DIO's coming
for that ass.

@Godzilla

Godzilla was awesome...coulda been made in 1 hour tho. Didn't need all the
human interest shit.

I couldn't beat the fire spider boss , so i just randomly started summoning

anyways a dude shows up , he immediately knows where we must go ,then another
dude alos comes. we wait for him , go into the mist and i head straight right
