I dont see how it matter really

The end result is the same.

They would be equally unique with or without the trait system. All it does is
alter the inputs, it doesnt magically make your character more or less unique.

Sacrificing 1 button just for Trait and having 1,2,3 as light medium, heavy is
a bit meh...prefer 1,2 to be punches 3,4 being kicks (don't need to be left
right, can be light medium too)

Also we should rely on trait system to make a character unique. their normals
and specials should be more than enough.

What difference does it make if its done via trait or other button?

The effect is the same. You still do the input for the skill.

In the gameplay vid, scorpion did some weird fire power up move? please no
trait system...if it's part of his specials then it's ok (like Jade's
Projectile Negation thing)

Nina chainthrow breakers is utter useless...you can break those chains and dmg
nina lolz.

Not sure how we can balance out the whole breaker issue. Shouldn't revolve the
whole game mechanism just because a few characters from MK9 had issues. Why
don't just buff them instead?

If you play characters in the same tier list, the game plays fine. It's only
when you choose those crazy mofos like kenshi, kung lao, kabal, etc. your lower
tiered characters suffer.

MK9 had a lot wrong with it, but I really enjoyed the game.

I'm with Paas.

The "breakers" have been a cop-out.

A breaker that starts a new combo would be so cool. Why has no-one done it?

The whole mechanic is fucked up imo. From being useless to OP depending in who
you are playing etc.

Combo breakers are fine in MK9.

Don't just copy injustice...that game is meh compare to MK9. It's like BR4
compare to BR3...one is an actual fighting game...another is a showcase of
power/special game...

I just hope they remove or change the combo breakers in MK9 work completely.

Would not mind them just copying Injustice in that department.

Better balance would be a huge plus aswell :P
