Not that simple.

- Tank tags every thing and builds aggro on main target
- DPS attacks main target and doesn't worry about anything else they aren't
gaining aggro from other monsters

- DPS casts AoE or something like Bane, instantly other monsters attack DPS

OR

- Tank tags every thing and builds aggro on main target
- DPS attacks main target and doesn't worry about anything else they aren't
gaining aggro from other monsters

- DPS avoids Bane and AoE so that they don't build enmity, but the mob takes
longer to die and Tank suffers more damage
- Healer spams heal spells to keep up with mob damage
- Mob attacks healer

Enmity is something you have to be cogniscent of all the time. You can't just
tag and then spam attacks on one monster. You have to ensure that their enmity
levels on the rest of the team won't overtake yours. Otherwise DPS can't do
proper damage, and Healer can't heal properly. You also have to ensure that
the monster AoE is directed away from the team. Tanking ain't easy.

go full out on what? your dps sticks to the target its not like you can do more

you cast debuff then ruin, you need to cast debuff then run away

We cant kill faster because you cant tank.

I frequently just standing still in ice stance to regen because if throw 1 more
fireball I going to pull aggro off you. (Does not really happen allot with
proper tanks)

If you want us to kill faster you need to Tank better, since we cant go full
out atm.

Assuming that the tank and healer aren't dead, yup. I mainly die because I
screw up...

Or LB has let the healer die, then died himself just after running right to me,
dragging most of the creeps with him

If Tank dies, it's the Healer's fault

If Healer dies, it's the Tank's fault

If DPS dies, it's their own fault

Serously LB.

A tank should judge success by how well he keeps enemies off the rest of the

They are releasing even harder "extreme" version of the Ifrit/Titan/Garuda in
the next update aswell from what I heard.

But tanking single targets are easy.

Try keeping the normal dungeon creeps from killing your teammates if you want a
challenge LB :P

There will be allot of content like that LB.

Its a MMO.

People will be playing it for months/years.

Also the stuff you need to kill to get it is probably pretty shitty/easy
compared to the Coil of Bahamut or probably the Crystal Tower that they will be
adding in the update.

And after you get your relic weapon you can do stuff to upgrade it to a better
version.

And after that there is probably a even better weapon to get your hands on
