To be fair, it's the same in many countries overseas. "Working class" people
in Singapore live a good life, but many of them will tell you they can't afford
to travel because it's simply too expensive. They pay a lot for their clean,
crime-free city.
Problem is in Cape Town is that we don't get the same value for our money that
they do overseas. Not by a long shot.
But where we've got the mountains and beaches so fuck Singapore :p

We have it good for now, but Cape Town is becoming a sort of play ground for

I still think Cape Town is the best city, for me personally. It's just really
expensive to live here and growth seems very limited, all things considered.
People don't want to pay decent salaries, prices everywhere keep increasing and

It just becomes too expensive to travel, and it means staying here is just
becoming too expensive.
I was planning a trip in May. Before Zuma fired Nene the tickets costed R9000.
One week later it was at R13000. Today it's R15000.
The property of my place went up by about 40% since I bought it. But the rand
also devalued against the dollar (and pound, and euro) by 50%, which means I
lost a lot. And not just there, but other investments
as well.
