I know someone who did rafting along the Breede river over new years.
She said that the water level was a bit too low and they had to carry the
raft in a few place. I’m thinking of doing something like this later in the
year, assuming that we actually get some winter rains. Who would be up for

Lol, if only. The project was insane. Generally working around 18 hours
per day, 7 days a week. Towards the end of the project we felt like
zombies. Each of us was doing different work, so there wasn’t really anyone
to cover for you if you were missing. Eventually in week 6, most of us
starting losing it and just falling asleep at the desks. Got the project
done in time though.
