Yeah less damage I think the super ender looks better than the normal hcf+p
otg grab.

also side note. you know the goro dm, hcfhcf+D, then qcfD or seomthing
like that.
anyways, you do the follow up to the dm then you finish with qcf+C. it
picks them up from the ground. I think it does less dmg but it looks swag

*lol* The Goro tech works! I got to test it against LB and Ryno
(Prankkiller). If you position yourself correctly, it's very effective.
Definitely gonna be using this more often. I messed up the execution a few
times but when it works, it's awesome!

Yeah, l didn't know either until l discovered it by accident. You
basically cancel the roll with df+C. With the quick cancel, you can
mix up
between command grab and df+C if someone tries to jump away.

I just managed to link Jojo's Star Finger as a true combo.
W, F, Star Finger, Stand Cancel, df+F. It works from near
cross-up jump in F as well.
As for Goro, I didn't know you could df+C "out of" his roll.

Seems like it's unique to 2k2um. The early cancel seems like it
could be difficult to react to and being able to do df+C at any point

@ the KOF heads, could Goro always cancel his command roll
early (before the animation completes)? I noticed you can cancel

earlier than usual with any of his special moves and his command
normal

I don't see it happening anyway, not outside top level. My
concern is that top level in SFV is like OK'ish level in other
games.
That's what they were aiming for anyway.

I like the fact that with a little bit of knowledge you
can compete at a moderate level and with understanding your
opponent you
could beat anyone. that's great, imagine randoms beating top
players. It
would be hype levels 9000

How does that even make sense?
The idea of having to play the player instead of the
character/game is interesting in theory, but what does that
mean for a
tournament like EVO? That the probability of beating someone
depends on
how much you've played them online? How many of their
YouTube matches
you've seen?
It feels a bit to me like Super Turbo, where every player
in the top tier has an equal chance of beating each other on
the day just
because of the nature of the game. Except that in ST you
need to be really
good at fundamentals to get to this level. With SFV, you
don't need great
execution. You don't need to be that good at beating zoning.
You don't
need that great spacing (in fact, precise spacing is kinda
pointless
because of their stupid transition system). Punishment on
block can be
done "in place", instead of having to eyeball how far too
move forward
before punishing etc etc. Close-up offense depends more on
reads that can
go either way rather than forcing situations that are heavily
in the
aggressors favour.
This is all just theory fighter though. We'll see what
happens after release date.
