I'm not skilled enough to become a decent game critic. I'll say whether or not
I like it and why but I doubt anyone would choose my reviews over someone else.
I'm like public enemy number one in the SRK SFV forums now because I speak
frankly and tell scrubs to STFU. Went on an epic rant this morning that I
thankfully deleted before too much damage was done.

I'd rather be critical about a game I might end up enjoying than hype about a

I'm mildly excited about SFV because it's new and as I said I'll definitely be

Hers was buffed so that it's actually + on block on the 2nd rekka now. It was
almost pointless before because it was unsafe on block and all her followups
were beaten by jab.
What I don't get is how SFV gets praise when it suffers from a lot of the
problems that SFIV had, but it's even worse in that regard. Worse walking
speed, worse normals, worse throws, noob execution, comeback mechanics. These
are the things that people originally hated about SFIV. Option Select and
Focus Attack hate only came afterwards. Now SFV comes out and automatically
these things are acceptable.
I really don't think this game would have been well received if it were
released in 2008/2009. I think it was have been considered a bad April fools
day joke.

They did hate on SF4. A lot of what is being said about V (pandering to nubs,
too easy, looks like shit, etc.) at the moment is very reminiscent of
pre/post-release SF4. That's not to say that the hate is unjustified, though.
People have legitimate reasons for why V isn't their cup of tea, which is fine.
We can't all like the same things all the time.
