Lol. Okay, I'll grant that most fault that people find with mechanics is
subjective. I hated the tag function in TTT2. I disliked the way that I could
hit the opponent (clean) and still get punished for it because of the tag
function. You seemed to feel the opposite. Similarly, complaining that the game
is 'less deep' than previous incarnations and that's a bad thing can also be
seen as subjective.
It is, however, possible to find fault with game mechanics where it is not
subjective - any mechanic that isn't working as intended. Or a mechanic that
forced bad balancing in a game (MK9's meter building). Calling those subjective
is pushing it.

There are close to 70 characters that have been playable in various
incarnations of street fighter. There will always be missing characters.
SF5 seems to have quite a few flaws, but the lack of a specific character isn't
one of them.
