Was playing the SFV beta stress test earlier. Everyone is complaining
that Ryu got nerfed too much but IMO I'd much rather play this version of
Ryu than his previous trash SFV incarnations. His walkspeed and sweep
buffs mean that he actually has a footsie game now. I could bait pokes and
punish with sweep, whereas previously the sweep would miss 90% of the
time. The netcode is decent. I had fairly playable matches vs guys in the
USA and EU, but I wouldn't say they were representative of offline play in
anyway. There was still lots of teleportation and rollback, but I suppose
it's fine for learning stuff like matchups.
