just dont overthink makoto. she's easiest character in the game.

things to note
 - you cant cross up makoto on wakeup , so when you get knocked down , just
wait for them and dp+lp, you can even follow up with ex axe kicks but just now
, you cant cross up makoto.

 - st mp is your friend spam it. on wakeup , spam it on their wakeup , spam
spam spam.

 - spam ex qcb+P, it knocks down and leads to the next point.

 - to land ultra , i usually just jump in with mk then do the throw works 78%
of the time.

 - practice dashing, coz she cant walk. mixup mixup mixup, dash in stmp, dash
in do notihng , dash in ultra , dash in dash in.

thats about it , everything else is just frame nonsense that nobody cares about.

Ah k cool

Need to sit a little in practice mode with these things.

Need to read the bible pdf thing again aswell. Just too much info to consume
at once... by the time I get to a match it all fades away lol.

Yes, you can do the Tiger Knee Tsurugi to do it low to the ground.

It's much easier to just jump then do it though, but using the Tiger Knee
motion will give you the lowest axe kick.

Makoto also has a really good reset game:

Hmmmm

Will try that. Been anti-airing mostly just with Makotot's s.mp. Seems to
work decently enough.

I react way to slow do her anti air DP thingy :P

When you refer to axe kick. Are you talking about the jumping special?
Tsurugi?

Abel and Makoto has the same style cr.mk. Both used for AA's. The great thing
about about Makoto's cr.mk is that she can dash immediately and then end behind
you as you recover then she gets a mixup (throw, grab, overhead, axe kick,
block string). I think Abel can do the same if he cancel's his cr.mk into a
roll but Makoto's reset is much better.

I think one of his good anti airs is cr.mk or one or the other kicks
