Basically what physics says that reality is not deterministic. Things
happen on a probabilistic scale. So improbably things can occur. But the
interesting thing is that all the possible ways something can happen exists
at the same time (it's called a Superposition of states). Like
Schroedinger's cat who is dead and alive at the same time. So the theory
is that if many realities exist, there is at least one reality where you
will live forever. Which is kind of like reloading a quick save just after
you die.
