Yup. It's not great (but it really could have been). It's a convoluted mess
of a film with paper-thin characters and a "barely there" plot.
The humans are uninteresting and mostly forgettable. You end up not really
giving a damn about any of them (l suppose this is partly a result of the
wooden acting). The orcs actually have more personality than the humans do.
Battle scenes are alright but nothing amazing. The same can be said of the
special effects. From what l've read, fans of Warcraft who are familiar
with the lore will find more to enjoy than those who are not. I'm in the
latter category.

I hear the film cost around USD160m to make, but 130 of that came from
China. While film isn’t doing amazingly in the US, it’s raking it in
