Found a cool Maxima KOF14 combo vid
Seems like definitely can combo after air EX vapor cannon on airborne opponent.
The dude even manages to do two EX air vapor cannons in 1 combo... not sure
what the rules regarding that are but I cant hit other characters EX moves more
than once per combo...

Ah, so it's not like you'll miss them?
Good, I'll go back a bit and 100% the other systems on my path until I get sick
of it... but there's a lot of 80's rock out there... might take a while.

You fly in and land. It always has the same 2 NPCs in them. They travel
around to study the anomalies so you find them every now and then through the
game.
You usually get stuff from them or they provides you with locations on the star
map

Anomalies are the big round things.
Did you go your own way? from what I understand if you follow the atlas
path(orange line on star map).
I dont think they marked on the map. It just appears there after after you
warp to a new system. Always have these 2 NPCs that are there, you get some
rewards and then get to them to help you with atlas path or make your own
way(Point you to a black hole).

80's track on the radio, space exploration.
That's how I roll.
I've jumped over 3 systems, because there was some anomaly that needed
investigating.
I'll bounce back to those systems when I've 100% the system.
The anomaly gives you an atlas stone, that's it.
I've found a planet with gravatino balls laying around, sentinals go ape when
you take em. I have fun blasting them sentinal dog-things.

Sometimes thats all you get. A floating head and hands of the other players.
Other times the position of the rest of the players body is estimated through
inverse kinematics or something like that. These are more frequently used for
other players bodies instead of your own.
While inverse kinematics does a good job of estimating where your elbow etc
should be its not perfect so sometimes you can see that your in-game elbow is
not where your actual elbow is it breaks immersion. That is why you will
frequently only have floating hands on your screen.
The estimations being slightly off has no effect on other characters since you
dont have a real life reference to compare to so they look just fine.

The acc/deceleration doesnt have to be major to cause issues, it just needs to
be there. Its there in many games that we probably dont even notice.
Walking forward and stopping with game characters rarely has them going full
speed immediately or coming to perfect stop the second you let go of the
button. There are short bits of acceleration and deceleration.

Wait, on the acceleration thing, that means that continuous (non-accelerating)
speed is fine, right? That’s why rollercoaster things work?
I’m trying to think of situations where you would have something like that
happening, outside of a cockpit or something similar. Nothing comes to mind.

Some interesting info has popped up regarding the main causes of motion
sickness.
Forward backward movement seem to be "ok" in general. Its acceleration and
deceleration that fucks people over.
Rotational movement without a cockpit is an issue as well. Thats why allot of
games does or has an option for comfort mode where turning your view with an
controller snaps it sideways 10-25 degrees instead of smooth turning.
Different things makes different folks sick tho and to varying degrees so its
not hard rules to fix/help the issue.

Forward motion is a bit of a problem unless you can freeze the immediate
background – like putting you in a cockpit of a plane or mech. Teleporting
forward is easier.
