They also nerf the speed of overheads that can lead to combos. And fast
overhead specials are punishable.
Goro's punchwalk is the best armor move. Was playing against a goro last
night. He seems to be faster? But was playing vs the one where he can pound
the ground.
Also major +frames on block are all gone. At best right now is +12
(D'vorah's puddle down from +27 lolz) So you can't really Jail block
strings anymore. Armoring out of +frames is an effective tactic. Zoning is
definitely a thing in certain match ups.
Overall, the game is fun. I won't say it's the best fighting game. But it's
pretty entertaining to play. There's at least a neutral game lolz

But I do agree with LB. MKXL is worth another look. I was actually
pleasantly surprised watching Di and GB's matches. The gameplay isn't
nearly as vomit-inducing as before.
