Ill use it as crutch until I learn to neutral with Yoshi :P

Thing is, how you'd deal with overly spammy people before is use your movement
to create whiff situations so you can punish them for being spammy to begin
with, or pay attention to the strings /pokes they're using and react
accordingly. In other words, respond intelligently to such situations by
putting in the work and doing the research to ensure that you know how to deal
with such situations. Now you have a single move that does that for you. No
thought or effort required.
I'm doing my 'early days' venting so that I don't have to complain about it a
month from now :P

Power Crush doesn't have armor on frame 1. So it can't really be used randomly
to armor stuff. It's most like used in neutral state + spacing. But that's when
sidestepping is strong.
Each power crush are different. Some are faster will "crush" more moves...some
are slower but yields combo etc. As for punishment...all different. Ranging
from + on block to launch punishable like Lili's ff2 (since it's pretty fast
and gives you combo)
I don't see power crush as a main tool in high level player. because it can be
baited out pretty easily and there's always ways around it. there's just a
telltale way know when it's coming...that's when you do strings that ends with
lows to stuff it out.
I think they buff powercrush so that it comes out or armors through stuff
faster than before...I know in vanilla t7 it was absolutely useless...also i
don't think you take as much damage anymore.
At first I thought it would cause big issues to tekken's gameplay...but after a
while...it's pretty useful for certain situations where you're back against the
wall and try to "get out"
power crush is really useful for characters who have stances...so imagine Lei's
razor rush into stance and he can do power crushes in those stances...makes
opponent think twice before dick jabbing everything. which i think it's kinda
interesting mind game.

That shit just didn't feel right man :(
But yes, it's a new mechanic, we know how to deal with it, so we just need to
look out for it in neutral.

I kinda get your feelings but just try to think of it the same as side stepping
in neutral.
You think somobody is doing move X then you step/walk.
Now there is just an extra you think im going to do PC then do a low or block
and punish.
(Depends on the char cause I know some of them are highs so you duck instead)
Its just something we are all going to have to adjust to :/

It's just scrubby ass shit that ruins neutral IMO. It doesn't even feel right
when I'm using it. I would have been ok with just Rage Arts and Rage Drives.
Far easier to deal with, can be used intelligently in neutral, and if you use
Rage Arts recklessly, you will be punished hard for it. I still need to
research the block frames for all power crushes, but if most of them are within
the region of -14 like with Master Raven and Yoshi, that's just dumb. Those
things should be launch punishable on block considering how scrubbily they can
be used.

But 1 match then you out is bullshit.
Needs to be alteast a 1st to 3 or something like that.
Also the game desperately needs a rematch button online.
