I see they went a new direction with varying level of Defense and HP
per character.


So damage is not consistent across the cast.


Like apparently Darkseid is a "squishy" character but he has some of
the highest HP in the game...  but he takes more damage due to having low
defense.


Not sure how big the difference is between the cast tho...

also, nobody can tell me who or how I must play. im not doing it for
anyone other than myself. if they play in a team, I can understand that a
teammate might have better odds of winning if someone else goes through,

Okay, found the article on Kotaku. Sounds like there was no
investigation other than ‘match looked dodgy’. That’s a bit of an issue.
I’ve had matches where my game is just off. Playing against a better
opponent can alter the way you usually play. If their mindgames are good
enough, you will be hesitant and may miss easy punishment. That’s not
necessarily match fixing.

I’m against any form of cheating or match fixing. It’s not utilising
the system, it is abusing it. Proving this is difficult though.
