over as the GL.
At least with Fate, they mostly left him alone.

versions of the Justice League. Depending on the version of him that you
come across (original vs. new52 vs. film), he’s a magician with a nifty
helmet and cloak. In other ones the person wearing the costume doesn’t
matter. It’s the helmet which holds the power and the person wearing it
goes insane and effectively becomes the helmet’s meat puppet.
Either way his powers are generally in the magic field. Makes him a good
counter to Supes.
