Im still worried about that...
I physically touch the lenses when using them and I dont have anything extra on
my face... with my eyebrows I guess.
Have to wipe them more often than I feel comfortable doing imo
Guess it also depends on your face shape... since those differ wildly.

Nah. I was worried about that – the idea of my glasses touching/scratching the
lenses on the Oculus, but that’s not the case. There is enough of a gap between
the two. It’s more that it’s just a bit uncomfortable with the glasses and
headset. There is slight pressure on the frames. That’s not a major issue, but
I wouldn’t want that for any extended gaming period. Also, I found it a little
easier to focus on writing with my contacts than my glasses. I dunno if this is
prescription related, or just the way I felt at the time.
There are loads of vids – I think Paas linked a couple – with people using
glasses and Rift. Some are making special frames to use with it. I bought my
Rift not knowing whether or not I’d be using it with contacts.

so the lenses are close to your eye?
so by wearing glasses you are touching the lenses? that's not good.

Very cool. I didn’t have too much time with it. I ran the test stuff that Paas
mentioned previously – the T-Rex and skyscraper, watched an animated short,
watched the Nekopara music vid and played a bit of Adr1f. The latter was pretty
cool. It’s the space simulator thing. You’re drifting weightless in a space
suit. I played that for about 10 or 15minutes. Felt mildly queasy, but nothing
bad. From the reviews that I’ve read it seems to be a bad one, so I guess that
means that I should be okay on most stuff. What I did find weird is that after
I took off the headset and sat down, I could feel the aftereffects of the
weightlessness thing. Considering that it was all in my head, that’s pretty
cool.
Oh, I definitely recommend using contacts over glasses with it.

pad is not hard to use, but it does feel weird not using a stick.
make sure you have the proper button setup on pad.
X = A, circle = B, square = C, triangle = D
if you don't use claw method then this setup is the best. you can put R1 as BC
cancel. with claw method you don't need this.
I don't play claw I use my thumb to hit both buttons for rolling, blow back
attacks and 2 kicks and punches moves.

Morning peeps,
The dmg nerf's are a welcome change. I think with new fyters the balance is
hard to get ryt coz u don't want your new characters to be wasted by making
them kuk.
Sin does way too much dmg I dunno what they were thinking and elf has been
stupid since the start. They did do some tweaking before, but it wasn't enough,
she remained stupid with her dumb op unscaled dmg and silly meter gain. im
happy they have been normalised.
I firmly believe the OP characters should be OP if you put the time into them
like ram and zato, they are hard to use and should bop anyone if you put time
into them.
