having performed a full combo into super is just too cool.

I've tested both and '98 is the only one that still feels 'off' after
making the changes. They clearly botched that but 2k2UM runs just fine
IMO.
If you have access to Nic's laptop, someone can change the settings as
suggested and you guys can test it. If you're still not happy with the
results, stick to PS2. I personally find the PC version to be very
responsive and it hasn't adversely affected my execution on the PS2
version
(based on when l was last at a sesh and ran sets in 2k2UM).
My combo execution isn't exactly the best in terms of consistency, but
l think it's safe to say that the PC version can't be all that bad if l'm
able to perform my combos several times in a row without fail (or any
noticeable change in timing).

For some reason it just doesn't feel the same to me amd it's not just
2k2 um but 98 um as well.

It's not so much that it's better. You'll only encounter issues with
the PC version if you have v-sync and triple buffering enabled in

to running the game at a high resolution. At the lowest res (which
really
means nothing in the grand scheme of things as it's a 2D sprite-based
fighter) with both of those options disabled, it runs flawlessly. No
frame
drops, no lag.

The biggest challenge to overcome initially is
understanding how the jumps work. Everything else - from

that suit your
playstyle and start the grind *lol*
Learning how to play the game correctly won't take all
that long. Beating people with 10+ years worth of
experience will though :D
More people should play KOF IMO. I LOVE 2k2UM.

else is stuff that I really don't like in stoic FGs.
