It requires a fair amount of investment to be decent at any KOF game
(speaking from personal experience), but it's a fun process.
The biggest challenge to overcome initially is understanding how the jumps
work. Everything else - from confirms to combos to supers - is easy enough
to learn. Just find characters that suit your playstyle and start the grind

Learning how to play the game correctly won't take all that long. Beating
people with 10+ years worth of experience will though :D More people should
play KOF IMO. I LOVE 2k2UM.
