If anything, HF is the "definitive" version of SF. There's very little
luck involved. OGs hated ST at first because you could win with sheer luck.

ST is one of the *least* polished fighters out there. It probably has the
worst engine in the SFII series.
And when I say SFII, I mean all of them, including WW (which is
understandably broken). But CE and HF are still legit games.

I agree that the game is "dry" in the sense that there's not much beyond
the basics, but that's not even a problem. By this yardstick, SFII is the
driest fighting game ever made. What irks me that *even the basics are
diluted* in SFV, and everything else is stuff that I really don't like in
stoic FGs.
