According to Nick, the response for MKX at CTS7 was overwhelming.

At this point I'm up for anything that will attract new players. Even MKX.
I feel so dirty now.

If anything, HF is the "definitive" version of SF. There's very little luck
involved. OGs hated ST at first because you could win with sheer luck.

CE and HF have cult followings, but they are boring to observe.
ST however captures the essence of sf with skill and a little luck you can beat
anyone.

ST is one of the *least* polished fighters out there. It probably has the
worst engine in the SFII series.
And when I say SFII, I mean all of them, including WW (which is understandably
broken). But CE and HF are still legit games.

its kinda unfair to compare st(polished product) to sf5(unpolished).
Theres been many changes and versions of sf2 to refine the system.

Lol, even I'm not even that much of a hater.
I agree that the game is "dry" in the sense that there's not much beyond the
basics, but that's not even a problem. By this yardstick, SFII is the driest
fighting game ever made. What irks me that even the basics are diluted in
SFV, and everything else is stuff that I really don't like in stoic FGs.
