Yup

So it's still a Japanese console then?

I have 2 DCs and just 2 controllers plus 2 vmu (memory cards with lcd
displays).
I have a massive power transformer that I use with it since it's an
American ntsc model.
I have a ton of original games for the system, both ntsc and pal games.
One of the games is Nick's favourite is fighting force 2 and random
Japanese Sonic Adventures 2 all nice and original.

Long story.
First parts of the system were from a friend who had nothing but a
console, he had plugged the system into a regular power supply cord,
aaaannnd killed the power supply because it was a jap model. I got 1
controller from him too with the little vdu thingie.

2nd set of stuff was from a guy who had a system but somehow lost his
console. I managed to get another 2 controllers and the component display
cables. He also had a PS2 to DC controller adapter that I bought off him.

I cleaned up the console as best I could, but the power supply was toast,
so I had nothing really.
Enter mark with a power supply, he just one day asked me "you don't
perhaps need a DC power supply do you?
Popped that in, and we found the GDrom was toasted as well.
He happened to have a new replacement for that too.

So, now I have a DC with a local power supply, a brand new GD rom, the
component cables or the full resolution and enough control stuff for some 4
player action.
I never got round to being able to dump and play games on the thing. I
never managed to write any games correctly.
Now I'm looking at those SD mods with keen interest. I'd really only
like the system to work for CVSPro... the other stuff didn't bother me, but
CVSPro was our killer game.

I have not used it for anything yet.
It has a new gd rom and a changed power supply.

Heh, there were 2 ps1 releases.
The NTSC one in Japanese language and the US one in English.
Other than the fps on the US one being limited, they had a loading
screen between rounds which added even more loading time to a game that
has
terrible loading time issues.
I tried loading the Dreamcast one on the Ouyam but it doesn't load.
I first need to see if the emulater can actually do games first I
suppose.

Its probably going to be doing what BB did. Release a new version
or update +- every year with 2-4 new characters.

There are 3 atm but there will most likely be atleast 1 added when
the console release happens.

Been unable to make the past 2 session.
Will be there this Saturday definitely.
Need me some Guilty Gear.

Not really. It's not like you have the meter or the health to do
these things the whole time. Most of them are pretty easy to do when
you've had some practice. Not Geese's stuff though. That 100% double
Final Impact combo took sooo many takes.
The last stuff where the air fireball hits Andy otg, and then combo
further, only work against Andy.
