The series. The dude who portrays Ed Kemper is really good.

It's a slow-burning crime drama. More dialogue than anything else. I
enjoyed it, but it's certainly not for everyone.

I finished Mindhunter last night. I thought it was a fictitious
re-telling of how the FBI developed their Behavioural Science Unit. Turns
out it's based on a book, which in turn was based on real events. I had no
idea Edmund Kemper was a real serial killer. This dude is scary as hell.
Kemper is known for his big stature and high intelligence. Standing 6 feet
9 inches (2.06 m) tall, weighing over 250 pounds (113 kg) and having a
reported IQ <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence_quotient> of 145
left his victims with little to no chance to survive an attack
