Its similiar to Dark Souls yea.
With deeper or atleast more technical combat, a diablo style loot and
crafting/enchant gear system.
And its all samurai and ninja style with a more traditional linear story
compared to Dark Souls minimalist approach.
If you the whole getting lost is really such a big problem for you then you
could possibly enjoy this more.
Its not one big winding mazelike map like Dark Souls.
Its singe levels separate from each other. There is multiple routes and stuff
and a few them can be mazelike but there is generally only 1 direction to go.

I blame work. Got home at 8pm last night and still needed to do some work. By
the time I’m done, I’m shattered. Skyrim is my go-to for just being brain dead.
Either that, or Diablo/Overwatch.
I’ve got a month off in December (sort of approved). I’ll use that time to get
through ME2 and Witcher 2.
Got Near Tomato and Yakuza on my list, but that’s for the far distant future.

items/weapons etc. that are also better than you skill wise.
Making you feel under powered and also wanting those items/weapons.

lower skilled players on purpose to make you feel good and positively reinforce
your purchase. (And making them want the items as well)
