I once saw a stream on twitch, when this guy played but he was playing by 
himself. I dunno how much fun that is.

I agree with some comments on that article with the use of term 'incorrect' 
game design instead of unconventional or unorthodox.
The game plays differently from the usual Mario games and that was the reason 
many folks including myself loved the series.
