I’m waiting on the new WW stuff as well, but it’s going to be months before
they sort it out. Blizzard is ridiculously slow about changing stuff or
introducing new items.

I think Paas past 40 with his monk.

Yeah, I can do it. I’ve tried it in practice mode and it seems fine. There are
loads of things that I’ve tried in practice mode and they’re all good. I just
don’t seem to do many of them in matches. Still getting to know the game, I
guess.

Oh, cleared 37 with my Barb. Failed 38 by 5 seconds.
Failed 37 with my wizard by about 2 min. With a better rift, he should clear it.
How’s your Monk looking?

I’ll get around to that eventually. At the mo’ I just find it easier to just
end a combo with d+D, then throw the HS fireball out and run in for pressure.
Works great against everyone except Elphelt where I need very specific distance
or the fireball just goes through her.

Would be awesome if we could use Jeeva's place again for EVO but we'll have to
confirm with him. If he's there again on Saturday, l'll chat to him about it.
On a somewhat related note, l'm thinking of running sessions at Kamimodo on the
21st and 28th of Feb. Yay or nay?

that then qualify as selling?

Speaking of which, are we doing Jeevas place again for Evo?

Ah okay, that's pretty interesting. So if you record a tournament of a
particular game (KI as an example) you aren't allowed to sell the tournament
footage at all? I wonder if that disclaimer is made explicit when one buys a
video game not that I ever bother to read through any of it :P

Not quite the same but on a similar note I recently read an article about
Microsoft possibly enforcing additional controls over their games and not
allowing third parties to directly generate income from them. I think guys were
saying that it may become illegal for tournament organizers to generate income
by streaming or using their games to do so unless they'd obtained permission
from Microsoft itself. Personally I don't see it happening any time soon - if
at all - but who knows, laws around these sorts of things always seem fuzzy
and the streaming industry is becoming pretty massive with ludicrous sums of
prize money being thrown around so maybe?
