The slide speed is ok. But you usually catch poeple doing stuff. Its nothing
about seeable in those situations.

A projectile or other good ranged moves would most likely work in the same
situation.

It's so seeable that high level players still eat slide on the regular. A good
move is a good move. There's no denying that.
From what l've seen, even though its a legitimate tactic from Ferra/Torr, it
hardly seems scary. More annoying than anything else.

True.
But slide and overhead drop kick is very seeable from full screen distance...
If you want to talk about 50/50 all day long and full screen. It's not Erron
Black. It's Hodor and the little girl...and both options are safe.

How is it not a 50/50 if the opponent has to guess between an overhead and a
low from range? Erron's slide might be punishable but that's doesn't mean it
won't be used. Look at Sub-Zero, same thing. Also, the running overhead is a
legitimate tactic as people are always going to be afraid of slide. I'm not
saying its abusable, but anything will work if you're good at conditioning the
opponent. With meter, it becomes even more viable as EX slide is safe.

Ok...

Imo 50/50 implies he can start a combo or do good damage from both. Not sure
what overhead dive move is unless you referring to f4. Mixing up f4 with slide
is suicide... 10-14 damage reward and both options are fullcombo on block.

He can only do his proper mixups from up close. From midrange and his combos
are coming from an overhead unless you count EX grenade but that is too slow
and reactable to use as combo starter unless you are using it as a mixup in
block strings.

I also dont see outlaw EB pushing those 40+ meterless combos or almost 50 and
up with 1 bar etc.

Slide and ovehead dive moves, he can force you into a 50/50 with those.Cancels
into command grab or something else that beats ducking without blocking 50/50.

Scorpion has fireball cancel too. +frame on cancel...so can make strings + on
block. Raiden too i think but not sure if he gets + frames on strings or not. I
tried Raiden's electric ball cancel...couldn't do it...the timing is different
to D'vorah's.

Just saw Raiden do 55% corner 1 meter...

Scorp can hit the 45% off a normal standing 2,1 start. Good luck connecting
