I agree. Erron being strong is not because of fullscreen 50/50. Ferra Thorr can
do the same with both options being safe and faster too...
What determines a strong character is mostly are their normals in my opinion.
Mileena's normals are ass...it's stupid slow. Her playstyle is very different
compare to the rest of the cast. You can't just retaliate with jabs because her
jabs is slower than most of the cast if not the slowest...Specials shouldn't be
thrown out so randomly and so much as we are doing now. Specials are usually
very punishable on block and it's not the answer to block strings. eg. doing
block strings into specials can get you killed. It's not always the case, some
people have safe specials and +frame specials on block.
MKX is a new game. Can't play it like MK9.

How is it not a 50/50 if the opponent has to guess between an overhead and a
low from range? Erron's slide might be punishable but that's doesn't mean it
won't be used. Look at Sub-Zero, same thing. Also, the running overhead is a
legitimate tactic as people are always going to be afraid of slide. I'm not
saying its abusable, but anything will work if you're good at conditioning the
opponent. With meter, it becomes even more viable as EX slide is safe.

Scorpion has fireball cancel too. +frame on cancel...so can make strings + on
block. Raiden too i think but not sure if he gets + frames on strings or not. I
