While I was messing around in Plasma Sword I figured out some tech. It
seems that the game doesn't want you to be able to easily combo into plasma
field (eg. Ring Thrower) because if you do it after landing certain aerial
specials, your plasma field inputs won't work. For a signicant amount of
frames afterwards you'll get a plain HP instead of Plasma Field. However,
it seems like you can crouch-cancel the landing frames (ie. crouch as you
hit the ground) and then go into Plasma Field which gives you enough time
to combo.

He does seem really good. Pretty much converts off anything into crazy

His normal hit you from half screen and his njp has godlike range as well.
If you stand outside the range and wait for him to land, he can simply
divekick if he picks up on what you're doing into full combo. I couldn't
challenge his jumps-ins, I think his jumping forward 1 has a downward
extended hitbox so it stuffs uppercut attempts.

If you play the attrition game against him, you'll probably lose due to
his damage output.
