Not so much, no.
Using strings you can somewhat.
For instance, with Quan I can do my launch string, but if the first hit
gets blocked, I opt out of the string to do a safe low special move that
chips after the second hit. If I get the hit, it's full launch - combo.

It was like that before. I remember that for Scorp, your mix-up was
low into spear, or overhead. With the low, you had to commit to the spear
before knowing whether the low had connected. Same with Subby's overhead
kick into ice.

I cant input a special move after I confirmed a punch or kick has
connected. its like u have to do it in a continuous flow.

Couldn't figure out the timing with the cancelling on Scorp's
combos. Somehow they just started working.
Have an issue in practice mode that it keeps doing position reset
while I'm practicing combos. Pretty sure I didn't press the big button
though. Really irritating.

im having some problems with adjusting to the cancelling in mkx.
sometimes it comes out and sometimes it doesn't.

I dunno if im doing it to fast or too slow or if im not doing it
right at all.

maybe its playing with pad?
