Game does take a bit to get used to. Especially since you didnt play older GG games or BB. Need to find myself a secondary... wish Johnny was in the game :P From: alasdair.donaldson@xxxxxxxxxx To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: CTS community mail Date: Thu, 8 Jan 2015 10:42:44 +0000 There is too much to learn in the game for a rank amateur, so I’m just stuffing around with the basics for now. I tried some Chip stuff and he looks cheerful, but the easiest character to get to grips with seemed to be Ky, so I went with him. Bear in mind that my preference is to play defensively and I hate block strings. Need to shift that mindset. My attempts to take games off Paas have not been as successful as I’d hoped. Found any characters you like the look of, Stu. The closest 'Stu' character I can think of is Slayer. Big damage and a deathfist-like move. Faust is cool as well. In terms of the gameplay, I’d have to say… um… the music is nice… and the sprites look cheerful. Started small but we will most likely get a bunch of DLC chars and new version every year or so. They did simplify the game luckily. FRCs were big hurdles for getting into many characters. Wasnt a big fan of the RC slow-mow when it was first revealed but im kinda liking how it effects the game now. The art style is great, the control scheme feels more convoluted than BB (not a fan of 5 button layout schemes). Once I'm able to make iAD combos consistent I'll probably start enjoying the game a bit more. On Thu, Jan 8, 2015 at 11:16 AM, Wynand-Ben <paashaasggx@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: So...
