lol, that sounds like a Visa application in the works.

Will you at least get a short break back home before they send you off
again?

Hey stu,

I'll be bringing my passport with my visas and stuff.

they're arranging someone to pick us up at OR. they're also arranging
someone to pick me up here in CT. Do you need a ride? i'll ask them if you
can tag a long.

@Di – you have a certified copy of your ID book. I think it’s more
important for whoever is winning this thing, than for me.

Also, do you know how you’re getting from OR to the venue?

It looks like he's prepared for the Mileena matchup. In fact, whenever
you see him just chilling out it's generally because he knows what the
character's options are so you are forced to play neutral He's ready for
projectiles (slide), teleport (block high) and the overhead string (block
high).

He got used to Reptiles low into overhead after getting hit about 4 or 5
times, but it's still a mixup after all. You can also just low into
throw. However, he will EX Ground Pound if you give him too much time to
react.

Sword version. He likes the range of the weapons.

Expect him to do Scorp’s d+3/d+4 – whichever one has the best range. After
that, none of Scorp’s normal in the Inferno/Hellfire options can hit the
opponent, but the f+2 launcher with swords will hit. He likes doing that.

In sword stance he loses the very safe overhead (f+2) for the launcher and
just has the vaguely safe f+4 overhead.

From chatting to Draeka, he uses Subby as much as Scorpion. It was his
choice for the finals in Jhb, so maybe that is his level.

Hehe. Lots of D’Vorah to come then. I really need to spend a bit of time
tonight or tomorrow getting some practice in. Not really that geared up for
the tourney.

Sesh was great. We had Draeka play FT3 sets. He used Grandmaster Sub all
the way through. He lost most of his matches initially but eventually
started playing a bit more comfortably. I know he has other pocket
characters so l have no doubt that he was sandbagging, but l'm not
surprised that he decided to grind it out with Sub just to feel people out.
Saturday will be interesting for sure, as Raj and Gamerkidd weren't
present and Zolani and Di were playing their pocket characters *lol* I'd
like to see how Draeka adapts to Zol's Brood Mother and Di's Swarm Queen.
