Like I think the MKX thing was called a season pass.

Where you get the skins and 4 characters for 1 price instead buying them
seperately

So it's just a bundle? Methinks this new wording is trying to set people up
for the sales model of trying to sell time-locked game licenses.

eg. Pay $40 to play the game for 4 months.
